PRAYER FOR PROTECTION

SCRIPTURES

CONFESSION

“O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle” (Psalm 140:7).

EXHORTATION

What this prayer will offer

• Divine fortification against satanic attacks
• Divine insurance against household enemies
• Divine shield against dark arrows

To engage in a warfare prayer is as necessary as a soldier going to war. To excel in life, we must confront and conquer the devil with his agents, firing arrows day and night and destroying people’s destinies. We also need a more potent and aggressive prayers against the kingdom of darkness that is never happy when you are making progress.

Many manipulations and unexplainable circumstances are on the increase largely because we Christians are so complacent and yet to rise to the challenges. So many unknown and unbroken covenants are plaguing the lives of people, causing misery and hardship.

There was a man I knew in my former church – a banker by profession who was doing quite well financially. One day during their family devotion, he went to pour fuel (petrol) into the generator. Through satanic manipulation, oblivious that he had picked a hurricane lantern while pouring the fuel, it exploded, and he got instantly got roasted. It was discovered quite later that his mother experienced the calamity in the same month and date in similar circumstance. The unknown covenant that the family refused to deal with eventually dealt with them. But the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has said in the book of Isaiah 28:18 that: “And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down.”

This means that whatever covenant that has existed and still operating and affecting our family shall no longer have dominion over us.

Many people have good opportunities but are suffering from slippery breakthrough because of certain negative covenants

The Lord has commanded the following seven declarations:

1. That he wants to release the resources needed
2. That he wants to bankroll the project
3. That he wants to supply all that you need
4. That he wants to miraculously take over the vision
5. That he wants to support you divinely
6. That he wants to execute the project
7. That he wants to release provision for the project

In Isaiah 46:10, the Bible says that “Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying: ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure’” This means that whatever the Lord has said from the beginning concerning your life is what shall stand; not the devises of the enemy.

Nehemiah 6:15 says that the wall of Jerusalem that had been broken down for the over seventy years and could not be built was rebuilt in fifty-two days, in spite stiff opposition from detractors. Nehemiah was an intercessor and God supplied the resources. Today, the Lord shall make available the anointing for project resources, completion, and execution.

PRAYERS

1. Any wicked altar that is used as instrument to attack my vision, project, proposal and resources, scatter by fire in Jesus name.
2. Any wicked hand that stretches forth against me or members of my family; let the hand wither away in Jesus n name.
3. Any negative word spoken against me or any member of my family shall backfire in Jesus name
4. Any power identifying my projects for attack; die in Jesus name.
5. Any incantation and dark prayers of destruction against me, my family and work, backfire in Jesus name.
6. Any altar of wickedness raised against my progress, catch fire in Jesus name.
7. O Lord! Cover my head in the day of battle in Jesus name.
8. Any strange label of failure attached to me, family, and work; you that strange label; dry up in the name of Jesus.
9. By the power in the blood of Jesus, every negative plan of the enemy against me, backfire in Jesus name.
10. Every decree of sickness, untimely death, backwardness against me and my family; backfire in Jesus name.
11. Any evil judgment and bitter words against me, my family and work; backfire in Jesus name.
12. Powers of the enemy attacking my life, family, and work; backfire in Jesus name.
13. Every blockage against my oncoming benefits; collapse by fire in Jesus name.
14. Every manipulation of the wicked against me, my family and work; backfire in Jesus name.
15. All demonic altars waging war against my welfare; O Lord! Confront them by your thunder in Jesus name.
16. Every plan of frustration, demotion, alteration evil deliberation against my progress; backfire in Jesus name.
